_ We are always interested in new members.
Our choir year is divided into two terms, Christmas (September to December) and Spring (January to June). If you are interested in joining, why not come along to hear us at one of our upcoming events.
Alternatively you can contact us at email@example.com , and arrange to meet us.
We generally wait until we have 2 or 3 people who are interested and then ask them along to a rehearsal where they will be given a short, informal audition (not in front of everyone) and invited to stay for the full vocal warm up and rehearsal.
Our Musical Director,
Paul Deegan uses vocal training a part of our rehearsal process. The ability to read music is not essential as Paul incorporates the rudiments of sight reading into our rehearsals. Having a musically literate choir means we can practice more efficiently, so choir members are encouraged to learn to read.
